Over ten Iranian students who are pursuing dental courses at a Private college in Kannampalayam have petitioned Superintendent of Police Moorthy, alleging that the hefty capitation fee of Rs.20 crore collected by the college have not been returned to them despite they are forced to discontinue the course.
The students in their petition have stated that Dental College run by RVS Group of institutions have collected hefty capitation fees up to Rs.20 crores from them.
In the meanwhile, the students have to discontinue the course as Dr.MG.R. Medical University to which the college was affiliated has cancelled the admission of the students on legal grounds.
The Iranian students alleged despite the development, the college authorities are declining to return the capitation fee collected for their admission. The students sought the return of the capitation fee, the college authorities collected during the admission.
