A free eye-screening camp was organized by CRI Pumps in association with Sankara Eye Hospital at Keeranatham.
About 26 persons who were suffering from cataract was referred to Sankara eye hospital for free surgery.
Residents of Keeranatham, Chinna vedampatti, Saravanampatti and surrounding villages benefited. Former panchayat president Sukuma earlier inaugurated the camp.
