Al Umma Activist Kichan Buhari and his two associates produced in court in connection Jamaat leader abduction case.

Kichan Buhari, a notorious criminal and Al Umma activist who was involved in Coimbatore and Bangalore bomb blasts was produced in JM Court here along with his two associates in connection with an abduction case.

Police investigation revealed that Kichan Buhari was behind the abduction of Inayathullah, a coordinator of all Jamaat federation after six persons tried to extort money from him and tried to abduct him for the same reason, ostensibly to help the accused who were involved in the murder of Farooq, a Dravidar Kazhagam activist who was murdered in Ukkadam in the city.

Police have already arrested six persons for the abduction bid made of the jamaat leader. The JM court which heard the case sent Kitchen Buhari to judicial custody till August 7, following which Kichan Buhari was taken back to Bangalore prison.

Investigations have also revealed that the murderers of Farooq had met up with Kichan Buhari in the Bangalore prison before committing the crime, which gives a new angle to the whole investigation. Al Umma, activist Kichan Bihari’s name would be added to list of murder accused if his involvement in the Farooq murder is proved, police said.
