Over 750 Communist Party of India (CPI) cadres court arrest demanding total prohibition, cancellation of NEET

Over 750 Communist Party of India (CPI) cadres courted arrest in road blockade protests organized in various parts of the district condemning against the imposition of NEET, waiver of student and farmer loans, and imposition of total prohibition in Tamilnadu.



In the protests organized near the District collectorate, over 20 cadres including CPI leader Valarmathi courted arrest. The protests were also staged in 13 places in the district as part of the state wide protests in which the CPI cadres were arrested.
