Police recovered the body of Revathi (45) of Arisipalayam near Madukkarai who was found murdered in her house. “The body was found in a pool of blood, with severe head injuries as she might have been attacked with heavy object on her head: Police said.
It is said Revathi, a Baduga women from Ooty had moved in to the house in West Thottam area of Arisipalayam only a month back. Santhosh, identifying himself as the son of Revathi had rented the house. Police are investigating the murder at every possible angle
Sniffer dogs have brought in to the crime spot and finger print experts pressed into service. Madukkarai police have registered a case and are investigating.
