Based on a tip off, officers of DRI CBE today intercepted a passenger who had concealed 1 kg of gold in an electronic gadget.
Abdul Gafoor of Calicut who arrived to CBE by Air Arabia flight from Kuwait via Sharjah on 23.07.17 was interrogated by the airport authorities who found gold weighing 1 kg worth Rs.30 lakhs concealed in an electronic gadget carried by the passenger.
Officials arrested Abdul Gafoor and confiscated the gold bar.
