Nilgiris District Collector Innocent Divya distributed Rs.20,000 each to six transgender beneifecieires to start their entrepruenial enterprises and a tourist vehicle worth about Rs.8.65 lakhs to one beneificiery under TAHDCO schemes at the grievances day meet here.
The collector also distributed 4 grams of gold and Rs.50,000 incentive to three beneficiaries under Dr.Muthulakshmi Reddy Inter caste marriage Assistance scheme.
About 104 petitions were received by the collector who presided over the meet praying for welfare measures including, power connections, roads, sewers, old age pension, widow pension.
