District collector T.N.Hariharan has ordered the students of the deaf and dumb school for the differently-abled of Kothapalayam in Tiruppur district be admitted in the Corporation deaf and dumb school in Coimbatore and Infant Jesus school, following the cancellation of licence by the Commissionerate of Welfare of the differently-abled.
The licenses to this deaf and dumb school has been cancelled by the Commissionerate of Welfare of the differently-abled following the arrest of Murugasamy, the Trustee, in a sexual assault case of the girl inmate. He was arrested and cases filed on him for exploiting and sexually assaulting a girl inmate of the school.
Over 110 students studying from 6th to 12 the in the school, and their education got affected.
“Parents of the said differently- abled students can admit their ward in the schools in Comibatore, immediately”, the collector said.
