The inauguration of Voice of Life Federation Trust was held here which was inaugurated by Prof. Rajasekar and Sivakumar.
Educational assistance to school children were distributed following which the book relase of “Kurunagai Pookal" by P.Prabhavathi and “Kaanikkai” by R.Kanakaraj was released. While “Kurunagai Pookal” was released by Athappa Manickham, Chairman of M.A.K. Group, and received by social activist Ilango, the other book “Kaanikkai” was released by Kavignar Kavidasan and was received by Athappa Manickham.
Athappa Manickham speaking on the occasion, said that the new trust should strive to get basic amenities, health and educational facilities for the downtrodden section of the people.
Following this, Jagadesan, author of 'Inaiyamum Ivanum' was awarded with Young Achievers award.
