The city is well known for its buzzing trade activities hence low air connectivity has been impacting the growth of several industries including textile.machinery, spare parts, healthcare and education among others.

In this scenario, this new launch of flight from Srilanka to Coimbatore has brought hope among the business communty and those who travel for leisure. The flight service commenced from this afternoon.
Accordingly the new service would offer travelers from Coimbatore direct travel to Sri Lanka to enjoy its many tourist attractions and and also aid business community to increase their trade connection with regard to textiles, industries, commerce, education, information technology, healthcare and manufacturing, enhanced opportunities for rapid and seamless transport of all types of cargo.
