Isha Outreach in collaboration with Chola groups and Aravindh Eye hospitals had organised a free eye camp at Viraliyur village.
Around 108 people attended this specialised eye camp. And, 23 people who were diagnosed with cataract and referred to Aravindh Eye hospital for free surgery.
Those diagnosed with refractive errors were provided with spectacles at a very low cost.
A similar free eye camp was organized earlier on June 25th in Semmedu village near Isha Yoga Center. The next free camp is scheduled to be organised on July 30th in Mathvarayapuram village high school. Isha also has plans to conduct such camps in villages and around Isha yoga center during the upcoming weekends.
