The long queue for tickets at the Agri Intex 2017 undeniably vouches for the mega success of the four-day expo that started yesterday, 15th July. More than the people from farming community, common public have been showing great interest in the expo, as an array of unique and eco-friendly products are on display.

Organic Millets, cold pressed oils, organic honey, medicinal and herbal based soaps and shampoos, home made pickles, organic cattle feed and manure, home gardening kits, huge variety of medicinal and herbal saplings, hybrid fruit and vegetable varieties, motor pumps, tractors, mechanised ploughing equipments along with stalls by TNAU, Mahendra pumps, Stanes &Co, Isha Nursery, SPIC has made this year's Agri Intex 2017 a useful expo for the people.

Thousands of people from various parts of the district took part in the expo. Rare varieties of herbal saplings and organic FMCG products was the most sought by the people. Avid home gardeners showed great interest in buying organic manure, gardening kits and rare saplings variety in bulk.

Among the products, cellphone motor starter, automatic robotic sensor, bio gas segregated from food wastes, grabbed the attention of the visitors.
"Undoubtedly this expo is filled with goodness of mother nature and also this provides a great platform for small scale industries who are into manufacturing of FMCG products" shared an exhibitor.
Tomorrow being the last day of the expo, more footfalls are expected. The expo will be open from 10 am to 8 pm.
