Over 2000 school and college students took part in the mini marathon organized by a private college here which was organized to stress home the importance of physical health among youngsters.
Held in three categories of 5, 10 and 15 kilometers students (over the age of ten) took part in the mini marathon which commenced form Nehru stadium and the marathoners reached race course and Avinashi road before returning to Nehru stadium.
Students, youngster and adults took parts in the mini marathon and first, second and third prizes were distributed to those who won the marathon.
