CCMC Commissioner Dr.K.Vijayakarthikeyan released the draft photo electoral roll of the City Corporation for the ensuing local bodies elections.
The total electorate of the city corporation across all the 100 wards is 14,14,312. While the male voters accounted for 710127, female voters in the civic body are 704022.
A total of 1177 polling booths would be set up and 10 each polling booths for men and women would also be set up during the civic polls he said.
The draft photo electoral role would be made available at City Corporation office, all the zonal office, and at the District Collectorate.
