Jailed Maoists commence fast in Central Prison.


Anup and Veeramani, the jailed Maoists, who have been incarcerated in the Coimbatore central prison have commenced fast, condemning the arrest of Rasheed and Sharma, who have come to meet them in the prison.

The twosome from Kerala, who have visited the jailed Maoists were arrested by Race course police on charges of smuggling a sim card into the prison. The police said they did this on the pretext of passion on clothes to the jailed Maoists including Anup and Veeramani.

The Q branch police have arrested five Maoist in 2015 near Tamilnadu Kerala border and they are incarcerated in the central prison.
