CBOA distriubutes Rs.1 lakh solatium each to the kins of 24 martyrs killed in Sukhma Naxal Attack


Canara Bank Officers Association (CBOA) has extended a helping hand and distributed a solatium of Rs.1 Lakh each to the families of 25 martyrs who have laid down their lives in Sukhma Naxal attack.

J.Vanangamudi Chairman of CBOA shared "CANPAL which is a two year old organization has been continuously involved in social welfare activities. CANPAL members have thought it fit to help the next of kins of CRPF personnel who have lost their lives during one of the worst Naxal attacks ever.

 

A fund of Rs.25 lakhs was collected toward which all the 25,000 members contributed. As the martyred jawans belong to various states and CBOA officials would hand over the solatium respective states.

J.Vanangamudi Chairman of CBOA handed over an Rs.1 Lakh to T.Selvi wife of Late N.Thirumurgan of Arthur Salem, who had lost his life while serving the country. N.Thirumurgan is survived by his wife Selvi and three children.

Raghavendran Deputy General Secretary, Sounderajan Central Committee Member, Eashwaran District Secretary and other office bearers and volunteers were also present.
