Coimbatore North Zone Ward 27 Councillor Ambika Dhanapal personally inspected ration shop operations, drainage cleaning, waste management, and road cleaning works in Peelamedu area. She interacted with residents and directed officials to ensure timely completion of civic works.
Coimbatore: Ward 27 Councillor Ambika Dhanapal of Coimbatore Corporation's North Zone in Singanalur Assembly constituency conducted field inspections of various development works in the Peelamedu area today.

Initially, Councillor Ambika Dhanapal visited and inspected the Singanalur Cooperative Fair Price Shop operating in Rajagopal Layout area. She enquired with residents whether essential commodities including rice, wheat, and sugar were being distributed properly. Fair price shop employees and members of the public participated in the interaction.

Subsequently, the Councillor inspected cleaning work of roadside plants and debris on Avarampalayam Main Road in front of ABC Matriculation School. As schools are reopening on June 4 after summer vacation, she directed Ward Supervisor Easwar to immediately clear the cleaned plant waste and debris.

Following this, Councillor Ambika Dhanapal personally inspected drainage cleaning work on NGR Street and ESI Compound area. Noting that it was a narrow road, the Councillor instructed the Ward Supervisor to remove the cleaned drainage silt within two days without causing inconvenience to the public.

On Kallimedu Street, Councillor Ambika Dhanapal inspected whether the battery-operated auto for daily garbage collection was operating regularly. She advised residents to segregate waste into biodegradable and non-biodegradable categories before disposal.

Finally, Councillor Ambika Dhanapal inspected roadside garbage cleaning work in BRP Garden area. She instructed Ward Supervisor Easwar to install boards urging people not to litter, creating awareness among the public.
