CBSE results declared after long wait

In the CBSE examinations held in March, 11 Lakh students wrote the exam with 15,450 students from Coimbatore. CBSE usually follows a moderation policy where grace marks are given in circumstances of tough questions being set. However, this year, the Human Resource Development Ministry had ordered that no grace marks be given.

A petition was filed against this HRD Ministry order as until this year, grace marks were given, and a sudden scrapping of the moderation policy would drastically impact students. After numerous High Court hearings, the results were finally declared today.
