Rajini need not enter politics, says Seeman.

Tiruchy: Naam Tamizhar Katchi chief coordinator Seeman today attacked superstar Rajini Kanth over reports of joining politics saying, “Rajini need not enter politics”.

Addressing the media persons after garlanding the statue of King Perumpidugu Mutharaiyar on the occasion of the celebration of the king’s 1,342nd birth anniversary here today, Seeman wanted to know if Rajini knew the history of Tamils.

Justifying his opposition to Rajini’s entry into politics, Seeman asked, “Can I rule Maharashtra if I had ever been in the State for 20 years?”.

Just because Rajini has been living in Tamil Nadu for over 40 years, he should not ever think of ruling the State, Seeman said.

Seeman also said that we could not allow British still to rule just because they had ruled the country for over 100 years.

If anybody can enter politics in a democratic country, where was the ‘democracy’ gone when Karnataka refused to release Cauvery water due for Tamil Nadu and chased away Tamils?, Seeman asked and added, “Let him be content with acting and earning”.
