Jagadesan, endearingly known as Jaggu, 24, is the extremely talented author of 'Inaiyamum Ivanum'. Jaggu has always known life through a wheelchair, however, his physical limitations never drew imaginative boundaries. He has always been curious and eager to learn, which lead to him exploring the world through the boon of internet. Today, he is well versed in photoshop, coreldraw and web development, all of which he learnt himself.

Jaggu, is undoubtedly a man with determination of steel. At first, he started out by outsourcing for small businesses. Later, he began making artwork on social issues that induced a thought trail amongst people. He staunchly believes social media is the best way to reach out to the rest of the world, and he uses this platform very effectively. His art has garnered great response from people all around the city.

Being an active socialite and Samaritan, he played an instrumental role in the collection and sending of food and medicines during the Chennai floods. With the hashtag #SeetoTN, he further created awareness and encouraged people to lend a helping hand during the time of crisis.

'Inaiyamum Ivanum' depicts the relationship Jaggu had fostered with the virtual world and the myriad mundane emotions. The book was launched by eminent personalities from various fields at Vijay Park Hotel, yesterday, with about 400 people attending the event. With not much publicizing, most people who attended the event had come out of their personal attachment to Jaggu.

Award-winning, Senior Journalist of Dinamalar, Selvakumar said, “Today, the crowd present, is here only out of love and admiration for Jaggu, for he has been our source of inspiration. Every time I get an article published, he is the first person who rings me up and appreciates the hard work I have put in. A journalist from Chennai had earlier published an article on Jaggu, being the phenomenal person he is. But that took me on a guilt trip, as Jaggu is a person very close to my heart and I should have been the first person to narrate his story to the rest of the world. However, someday I hope to write a book on him, for he deserves no less.”
SimpliCity congratulates this man of mettle and hopes he scales much greater heights!
