BJP would use the unstable political climate to capture power in Tamilnadu- H. Raja, BJP National Secretary

Bharathiya Janatha Party is not interested in indirect politics, the party would do positive politics and try to capture power in Tamilnadu, using the prevailing unstable political climate in Tamilnadu said H. Raja, BJP National Secretary.

After Participating in a temple function at Avaram palayam here Raja, who briefed the media said that actor Rajnikanth has every right to enter politics but his statement that he would follow the path of Periyar in politics is little confusing.

“Do a spiritually- inclined person like Rajnikanth believe in the rationalist politics of Periayar” H Raja demanded to know. He also observed that the political philosophy of EV Ramasamy Periyar is diametrically opposed to Hindutva politics.

While acquiescing to the fact that BJP is looking for the right opportunity to strike and capture power in the state, Raja added that there is nothing wrong in the party's strategy to make use of the unstable political climate in Tamilnadu. “If DMK could make use of Jaya- Janaki factional fight in the eighties, to come back to power what is wrong in BJP following the same tactic?” Raja quipped.

Kanimozhi, the Rajyasabha MP, who has gone to Tihar jail in 2G case has no moral right to criticize BJP. Without learning the language of Hindi, Tamils would be like a frog in the well he said. He also said and added that the candidate with the backing of BJP would ultimately win the Presidential election.

Raja also said that Karthi Chidamabaram, son of former Union minister P. Chidambaram would join TTV. Dinakaran in Tihar jail “He might join TTV Dinakaran to give him wollens in Tihar jail" Raja quipped.
