Coimbatore Corporation Announces Zone-Wise Helpline Numbers for Water Supply Complaints

Coimbatore Corporation Commissioner M Sivaguru Prabhakaran announces dedicated zone-wise contact numbers for residents to report water supply issues across all five zones covering 100 wards in the city.


Coimbatore: Residents of Coimbatore Corporation areas can now report their drinking water supply related complaints through zone-wise designated contact numbers, announced Corporation Commissioner M Sivaguru Prabhakaran.

Following the Chief Minister's guidance, various measures are being implemented to fulfill basic amenities including drinking water, road facilities, and street lighting for residents across 100 ward areas under the five zones - East, West, North, South, and Central zones of Coimbatore Corporation.

Particularly during the current summer season, drinking water is being supplied to the public at regular intervals without any interruption. Additionally, damaged bore wells are being repaired to ensure continuous water distribution.

The public can report any water supply related complaints in their areas through WhatsApp number 819000 00200 or through zone-specific numbers: East Zone at 89258 40945, West Zone at 89259 75981, North Zone at 89259 75980, South Zone at 90430 66114, and Central Zone at 89259 75982.

Corporation Commissioner M Sivaguru Prabhakaran stated that immediate action will be taken on all complaints received from the public regarding water supply issues. He encouraged residents to utilize these dedicated helpline numbers to ensure prompt resolution of their concerns.

The Corporation has assured that all complaints will be addressed swiftly to maintain uninterrupted water supply across all zones during the summer season.
