According to the Coimbatore District Disaster Management report, a total rainfall of 626.93 mm was recorded between 13.10.2024 - 08.30 AM to 14.10.2024 - 08.30 AM, with an average rainfall of 27.26 mm. The highest rainfall was observed in Coimbatore South Taluk, which received heavy rainfall of 78 mm, classified under “Heavy Rainfall†according to the Indian Meteorological Department’s rainfall prediction categories.
Other taluks such as Airport Peelamedu (58.50 mm), T.N.A.U (60 mm), Sulur (38 mm), and Valparai regions also recorded moderate rainfall. Light rainfall was recorded in areas like P.N.
