Coimbatore: The Department of Horticulture and Hill Crops is selling coconut seedlings at its nursery near Anamalai. Assistant Director of Horticulture, Gopinath, released a statement today, September 9, providing details about the sale.
The coconut nursery, operated by the Department of Horticulture and Hill Crops, is located at Aliyar near Anamalai. The nursery has ready-to-sell seedlings of tall and hybrid varieties of coconuts.
Tall variety seedlings are priced at Rs. 65 each, while hybrid varieties are available for Rs. 125 per seedling. Farmers interested in purchasing these seedlings can visit the nursery with their Chitta (land document) and Aadhaar card.
