MP Ganapathi Rajkumar Inaugurates Fair Price Shop in Rangammal Colony, Ashokapuram, Coimbatore

Coimbatore MP Ganapathi Rajkumar opened a new fair price shop in Rangammal Colony, Ashokapuram, on behalf of the Coimbatore Agricultural Producers Cooperative Marketing Society. The shop will serve ration cardholders with essential commodities.



Coimbatore: Coimbatore Member of Parliament Ganapathi Rajkumar inaugurated a new fair price shop in Rangammal Colony, Ashokapuram, under the Ashokapuram Panchayat near Thudiyalur, Coimbatore. The shop has been established by the Coimbatore Agricultural Producers Cooperative Marketing Society, under the Department of Cooperation.



The MP officially opened the shop by cutting the ribbon and performing puja ceremonies.



He then initiated the first sales by distributing sugar, pulses, and rice to ration cardholders.



The event was attended by several local officials and party members, including Panchayat President Ramesh, District Councillor and DMK Union Secretary Karthik, Panchayat Vice President Auditor Shanmugasundaram, Union Councillor Kala Santharam, and Deputy Registrar of Cooperatives Naveen. DMK party executives including District Representative Senthilraja, Union Deputy Secretary Ashok, District Overseas Wing Deputy Organizer Vijayan, Panchayat Council members, and representatives from various political parties were also present.



Following the shop inauguration, a three-day camp for registration and renewal of the Chief Minister's Comprehensive Health Insurance Scheme was launched at the Government School in Teachers' Colony. The camp, organized by the Department of Medicine and Public Health, was inaugurated by District Councillor Karthik. Union Councillor Kala Santharam and District Representative Senthilraja made the arrangements for the camp.
