The 3.8-kilometer-long flyover, constructed at a cost of ₹481 crore, aims to reduce the severe traffic congestion between Ukkadam and Athupalam on the Palakkad highway.

The much-awaited infrastructure project is expected to bring relief to thousands of commuters who have been facing daily traffic snarls on this busy stretch. The flyover is designed to streamline traffic flow and reduce travel time for vehicles heading towards Palakkad and other destinations.
