DMK's West Union Organizes Motorcycle Race to Commemorate Karunanidhi's Centenary

DMK's West Union in Coimbatore held a motorcycle race near Maangkarai to mark former CM Karunanidhi's centenary. The event saw participation from various party officials and members.


Coimbatore: The DMK West Union of Periyanaickenpalayam, near Maangkarai adjacent to Coimbatore Tadagam, organized a motorcycle race competition to commemorate the centenary of former Chief Minister Karunanidhi. The event was presided over by Union Secretary C.M. Krishnakumar, with Assembly Chairman Anaikatty Madan delivering the welcome address.

Union Deputy Secretaries M.R.D. Selvaraj and Sivakumar, Union Treasurer K.C.K. Sampathkumar, and District Representatives Anandakumar, Thirunavukkarasu, and Kathirvel were also present at the event.



Prior to this, the Coimbatore North District DMK Youth Wing conducted a membership drive near the Chinna Tadagam bus stop. The camp was organized by District Deputy Organizer V. Suryanthambi. District Youth Wing Organizer MAR.K. Hakeem presided over the event, which was attended by Youth Wing District Deputy Organizers P. Vignesh, K. Nagaraj, P.K. Arunachalam, Udhayanidhi Babu, and M. Manoj.

Coimbatore North District Party Secretary Thondamuthur A. Ravi and Coimbatore Member of Parliament Ganapathy P. Rajkumar participated as special guests in both events. They inaugurated the motorcycle race and the membership drive by waving the flag.



The events also saw the participation of several party executives and functionaries, including Central Executive Committee Member T.P. Subramanian, District Deputy Secretaries Ashok Babu Arukutti and Senthil, Union Secretaries Karthik and Suresh Kumar, former Union Councillor T.V. Selvaraj, and various wing representatives.

Youth Wing member Jegan Prasanth delivered the vote of thanks at the conclusion of the events.
