Public Grievance Redressal Camp Held at Coimbatore SP Office

Following the orders of the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister, a Public Grievance Redressal Camp was conducted at the District Police Office in Coimbatore today, handling appeals of previously unsatisfactory resolutions.

Coimbatore: In a move to ensure justice and speedy resolution of public grievances, a special camp was held at the district police station today, overseen by District Superintendent Badrinayaranan. This initiative, following directives from the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, aimed to re-examine petitions that were not resolved satisfactorily in their prior evaluations.

The camp facilitated direct interactions between the petitioners and the respondents with investigations undertaken by the District Superintendent of Police and other police officials to resolve the grievances.

Today’s session successfully revisited 72 cases involving familial disputes, financial transactions, and property issues. This process resulted in the registration of First Information Reports (FIRs) in 3 cases, smooth resolutions in 59, and recommendations for further investigations in 13 cases.

Additionally, several Deputy Superintendents and Police Inspectors participated in the camp, contributing to the effective resolution of public complaints.
