The land had been illegally encroached upon by individuals named Senthilkumar, Balasubramani, and Satheeskumar, who had occupied parts of the bank along a 4-kilometer stretch of a local stream.
Following multiple complaints and staged protests by the area residents, revenue officials were prompted to take action. They conducted a detailed survey and subsequently removed fencing that marked the encroached areas, effectively returning the land back to its rightful state.
