Schools in Valparai to Remain Closed Today Due to Heavy Rainfall, Announces District Collector

Schools in Valparai taluk are given a holiday today by District Collector Kranthi Kumar Pati due to continued heavy rainfall. Colleges will operate as usual.


Coimbatore: Due to the ongoing heavy rainfall in Valparai and its surrounding areas since Wednesday, the District Collector of Coimbatore, Kranthi Kumar Pati, has announced a one-day holiday for all schools in the Valparai taluk today, June 20. The Chennai Meteorological Center forecasts that the severe weather conditions will persist, prompting precautionary measures to ensure safety. While schools are temporarily closed, colleges will function normally, adhering to their regular schedules.
