DMK North Coimbatore Student Wing Holds Strategy Meeting

On May 28, 2024, the DMK's North Coimbatore Student Wing conducted a consultation meeting led by Ravi from Thondamuthur, with significant resolutions passed to enhance student activities.


Coimbatore: A significant consultation meeting was held by the DMK North Coimbatore Student Wing at the party district office at 4 PM today.



The meeting was chaired by the district secretary Ravi from Thondamuthur, with the district student organizer, C. Anthoniraj, presiding.



Deputy organizers G. Sivakumar, E.M.S. Rabideen, S. Dineshkumar, S. Saranya, and R. Manojkumar were in attendance. The meeting resulted in several key resolutions aimed at strengthening the student wing’s initiatives across educational institutions in the region.

The primary resolutions included selecting two schools per constituency to distribute notebooks commemorating the centennial birth celebration of Leader Kalaignar, setting up the final list of student organizers and deputy organizers at Perur union branch levels, and establishing "Tamil Student Forums" in all educational institutions in North Coimbatore for the upcoming academic year.

Additionally, the meeting emphasized the rapid initiation of administrative processes for these forums, and plans for state-level speech and essay competitions with selected winners from district-level schools and colleges.

The contributions of the district secretary Ravi in establishing opportunities for the student delegates in parliamentary elections were acknowledged. Further expressions of gratitude were extended to state student team secretary CVMP. Ezhilarasan, MLA, along with regional coordinators and state associate secretaries for their guidance in prospering the student wing.

Deputy organizer G. Sivakumar concluded the meeting by thanking all participants for their active contributions to the success of the conference.
