Heavy Rainfall Turns Coimbatore Railway Station Road Into a Pond

Heavy rainfall in Coimbatore today has led to severe waterlogging, especially on the road to the Coimbatore Railway Station, making it resemble a pond and causing distress to motorists and pedestrians.

Coimbatore: The Meteorological Department predicted heavy rain in Coimbatore District today, and true to their forecast, various regions in Coimbatore witnessed significant rainfall starting this afternoon.

As a result, numerous areas are experiencing waterlogging, with the road to the Coimbatore Railway Station turning into a virtual pond.

The stagnated rainwater has made it difficult for vehicles to navigate the area. Even after the rain ceased, the water has not receded, causing ongoing issues for the public and vehicular traffic in the region. Motorists and local residents are facing severe difficulties due to the submerged road conditions.
