His Earlier Cases and Arrests

Savukku Shankar was sentenced to six months in jail by the Madras High Court on September 15, 2022, for his contempt of court charges. Savukku Shankar, a well-known YouTuber, faced legal challenges from G Square Realtors who filed a case against him seeking a restraining order and damages amounting to approximately Rs 1 crore. The Madras High Court issued an order restraining Shankar from making any further comments about G Square Realtors. In related proceedings, Justice GR Swaminathan of the Madurai bench of the Madras High Court sentenced Shankar to six months in jail for contempt of court, related to his remarks against the judiciary.
