Coimbatore: Over 200 commuters staged a road blockade at Kangeyam Perarignar Anna Bus Stand early on Wednesday morning after bus services to Trichy scheduled to start at 5 AM did not arrive. This unexpected disruption left many passengers, including those who needed to travel out of the city for voting, stranded and distressed. Public outrage grew as they expressed their frustration over the inability to reach their destinations.

Additionally, the unavailability of nearby eateries added to the travelers' woes since they were unable to find food for several hours.
