Union Minister Visits Victim Injured in Police Lathi Charge During Nomination in Nilgiris

On March 30, Union Minister L. Murugan visited Muruganathan, who was injured by police during the nomination process for the Nilgiris constituency on March 25, at PSG Hospital in Coimbatore to offer condolences.


Coimbatore: In a compassionate response to a distressing incident, Union Minister L. Murugan visited PSG Hospital on March 30 to meet Muruganathan, who suffered injuries following a police altercation on March 25.

The altercation occurred while Muruganathan was attempting to file a nomination for the Nilgiris parliamentary constituency. The Union Minister's visit underscores the government's concern for the welfare of its citizens, especially those who find themselves inadvertently caught in the midst of electoral processes.
