Upon interrogation, the individual, identified as Mohammed Rasheed, aged 22, from MGR Nagar in Goundampalayam, exhibited inconsistency in his responses, raising further suspicion.
A subsequent search led to the discovery that Rasheed was involved in the sale of marijuana. Police seized 450 grams of the substance along with a scooter used in the illicit trade. Following the arrest, Rasheed was presented before a court and subsequently remanded to central jail.
