Tamil Nadu Boyar Association Meeting Held in Coimbatore

The Tamil Nadu Boyar Association held a meeting at the Mettupalayam head office, presided over by the state president C. Nagaraj, with several key resolutions passed.


Coimbatore: A significant meeting of the Tamil Nadu Boyar Association was held yesterday at the Mettupalayam head office. The meeting, presided over by the state president C. Nagaraj, saw the presence of key figures including the Mettupalayam leader Rajendran, secretary Manoharan, and treasurer Vignesh.

Special invitees for the meeting were the Coimbatore district Boyar Association leader A. Balu (aka Balasubramanian) Devaraj, organizer Subramanian, and other prominent members including C. Selvaraj, Senthil K. Devaraj, and Veerasamy.

The meeting focused on crucial decisions for the community's welfare. One of the main resolutions was to submit a petition to the Tamil Nadu government for the establishment of a Boyar Welfare Board and to show the community's strength, which stands at 80 lakh members, in the upcoming parliamentary elections.

The community unanimously agreed to support and rally votes for the Boyar community candidates in the parliamentary elections. The leaders emphasized the importance of showcasing the community's unity and strength in the political arena.
