Review Meeting for Dharapuram Union Councillors on Panchayat Development

Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu - A comprehensive review meeting was conducted for the Union Councillors of Dharapuram to discuss various aspects of development, including road improvements, water supply issues, and village infrastructure.

The meeting, held at the Dharapuram Union Council Hall, was chaired by the head of the Union Council, Mr. S. V. Senthil Kumar. The discussions encompassed the urgent need to upgrade deteriorated roads in rural areas, address water scarcity problems, and illuminate dark streets.

The review meeting also included deliberations on the development projects of 16 different Gram Panchayats in the Union Council region.

S. V. Senthil Kumar, the head of the Union Council, emphasized that this year has seen a shortage of rainfall in the southern part of the region, leading to a demand for water supply in many villages. Priority will be given to ensure adequate water supply, and measures to alleviate the situation will be expedited. Additionally, the urgent need to revamp dilapidated roads and enhance essential infrastructure to improve living conditions in the region was highlighted.

Among those present at the meeting were Union Councillors Subramaniam, Theivasigamani, Palanisami, Geethalakshmi, Kalaiselvi, and Supriya, along with Union Council officials.

This review meeting serves as a significant step toward addressing critical development issues in Dharapuram and underscores the commitment of local authorities to uplift the living standards of the community.
