Case filed against 11 people for gambling near Udumalpet

Tirupur: Police received information that gambling was taking place in Manupatti area near Udumalai in Tirupur district.

Based on this, the Amaravathi police, who inspected the area, found that gambling was taking place in a Garden Road area near the Thampuran temple. Following this, the police registered a case against 11 people involved in gambling. They seized 9 cocks and Rs 30,100 from them.

Amaravathi Nagar police have registered a case and are investigating the matter.
