Clash between BJP office-bearers in Dharapuram - Video goes viral

Tension prevailed in the area after a clash between two BJP functionaries during the Mann Ki Baat programme in Dharapuram turned into a scuffle. A video of the attack by both sides has gone viral on social media.

Tirupur South district president Mangalam Ravi, who came to the bus stand due to a difference of opinion between them, suddenly attacked them.

There was a clash between Kongu Ramesh and his supporters, Hindu Makkal Katchi district president Easwaran and three office-bearers, tiruppur south district president Mangalam Ravi.

The clash turned into a scuffle. Hindu Makkal Katchi district president Easwaran and office-bearers Shankar and Kongu Ramesh were admitted to the government hospital for treatment.



They were later shifted to coimbatore government hospital for further treatment.



Tirupur South district BJP district president Mangalam Ravi sustained injuries at a government hospital. On learning of this, bjp office bearers gathered at the Dharapuram government hospital.

A large number of police personnel led by Superintendent of Police Dhanarasu, who arrived at the government hospital, were deployed in the presence of police inspector Manikandan.

The incident of clash between BJP functionaries has created a stir in Dharapuram.
