Coimbatore District Collector has informed that the public can apply for the AADHAAR card at the e-seva centers of the Tamilnadu government.
The e-seva centers have been created in order to help the people to obtain the government certificates and ID cards easily. These projects have been implemented in the Thasildar offices, Divisional development office and the Agriculture cooperative union offices.
About 231 e-seva centers are functioning in Coimbatore. So far 138995 community certificates, 182037 income certificates, 66793 residential certificates, 10405 first graduate certificate, 61 certificates for destitute women and 33239 certificates for the change of Patta have been issued.
Applying for marriage assistance, applying under the two girls child scheme, electricity bill, Plastic aadhaar card are the works that are carried out at these centers.
Color Voters ID cards can be obtained at the e-seva centres at a cost of Rs.50.
