Panchayat Union Meeting at Palladam - member takes part in a black shirt as protest

A meeting of union committee members was held at the Palladam panchayat union office on Friday. Condemning the Tamil Nadu Governor for not repealing the Online Rummy Bill, the fifth union committee member participated wearing a black shirt.



Tirupur: The fifth union committee member wore a black shirt and participated in a meeting held at the Palladam panchayat union office.



A meeting of union committee members was held at Palladam panchayat union office in Tirupur district on Friday.



Of the 13 ward councillors in Palladam panchayat union, only six councillors attended the meeting.



The meeting hall was deserted as government officials were also not present at the meeting.



Condemning the tamil nadu governor's rejection of the bill passed by the tamil nadu government on banning online rummy for the second time, Palladam fifth union committee member attended the meeting wearing a black shirt.



Even as the Tamil Nadu government and all political parties unanimously passed a bill in the Assembly for online rummy, which has claimed the lives of tens of thousands of youth, "I attended the meeting on Friday wearing a black shirt to condemn the rejection of it by the Governor of Tamil Nadu.

Slogans were raised against the Central government and against Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
