Bus Conductor falls from moving bus, sustains grievous injuries near Dharapuram - Police

In an accident, a bus conductor fell down from a running bus and sustained serious injuries after the door of a private bus suddenly opened at Dharapuram.


Coimbatore: Yuvaraj from Erode is working as a bus conductor on a private bus in Erode-Palani route.

The bus, which had arrived at Dharapuram bus stand from Erode yesterday, was carrying passengers and was passing through Periya bazaar on new police station road.

At that time, conductor Yuvraj was standing on the front foot board of the bus.

When the bus veered around in a turning, suddenly its front door opened and Yuvaraj, who was standing on the front foot board stumbled and fell on to the road.

Shocked by the accident, the passengers shouted in time.



The driver of the bus immediately stopped the bus and rescued the seriously injured conductor Yuvaraj and rushed him to Dharapuram government hospital.

There, he was given first aid and later referred to Tiruppur Medical College Hospital for further treatment.
