Corporation Deputy Commissioner Sharmila participates in bhoomi pooja for Home for the destitute

Coimbatore Corporation Deputy Commissioner Sharmila participated in the bhoomi pooja for the construction of home for the destitute at Kadalakarasandhu in Coimbatore. The works will be implemented at a total cost of Rs 1.40 crore.



Coimbatore: The Bhoomi pooja for the home for the destitute was performed at Kadalakarasanthu in Coimbatore in which Deputy Commissioner Sharmila took part.

Under the "Deendayal Antyotya Yojana" and National Urban Livelihoods Mission of the Government of India, the construction works will commence at an estimated cost of Rs.1.40 crores.

The destitute, who are roaming in Coimbatore would be accommodated in the home, which is being constructed at ward no:83.

Central Zone chairman Meena Logu, Health Department Chairman Marichelvan and others were present on the occasion.
