Narikoravars petition Coimbatore district collector demanding free housing plot

Narikoravars of Sundakkamuthur have submitted a petition to the district collector's office seeking allotment of plots under the government's free housing plot scheme.



Coimbatore: The NariKoravar community of Sundakkamuthur in Coimbatore has submitted a petition to the Coimbatore district collector's office seeking free housing plot for them.



According to the petition filed by the Narikoravar community, they have been living on the land belonging to the temple in The MGR Thottam area of Sundakkamuthur for the last 35 years. It is very difficult to be here during the rainy season.



They should also be allotted a separate plot of land as it would be a hindrance for themselves and the people there if they live in apartments.



As there are about 35 families living without plots, they should also be allotted free plots under the free plot scheme provided by the Government of Tamil Nadu.
