நீலகிரி மாவட்டத்தில் நாளுக்கு நாள் கொரோனா தொற்று அதிகரித்து வரும் நிலையில், தொற்றுடைய நபர்கள் வெளியே சென்று வருவதால் மாவட்டத்தில் தொற்று பாதிக்கப்படுபவர்கள் எண்ணிக்கையும் அதிகரித்துள்ளது.
இந்த நிலையில், நீலகிரி மாவட்டத்தில் இன்று மேலும் 46 பேருக்கு கொரோனா வைரஸ் தொற்று உறுதி செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளது. இதன் மூலம் நீலகிரியில் கொரோனா பாதிக்கப்பட்டவர்களின் எண்ணிக்கை 1,653 ஆக உயர்ந்துள்ளது.
