Coimbatore: Ganga Hospital, Coimbatore, has been honoured with the Lifetime Achievement Award at the ninth edition of CII Hospital Tech 2026 held in Mumbai, in recognition of its distinguished contributions to healthcare, global impact and service to society.
Dr. S. Rajasekaran, Chairman of the Department of Orthopaedics and Spine Surgery at Ganga Hospital, received the award from Padma Shri Dr. Ramakant Deshpande, Chairman of the CII Western Region Sub-Committee on Healthcare and Lifesciences for 2026-27 and Chairman of the Asian Cancer Institute at Cumballa Hill Hospital.
The Lifetime Achievement Award marks a significant recognition for Ganga Hospital and its continued contribution to advancing healthcare through specialised treatment, medical innovation and service to society.
CII Hospital Tech is the flagship healthcare initiative and annual conference organised by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Western Region. The event serves as a national platform bringing together medical professionals, technology developers, hospital architects, healthcare investors and government policymakers to discuss and shape the future of hospital infrastructure and medical care in India.
The summit brought together more than 80 healthcare leaders and government officials, along with over 500 delegates representing hospital networks, startups and academic institutions.
