An FL2 liquor bar on Peelamedu-Vilankurichi Road in Coimbatore was sealed on September 8 following a police case over a recent altercation between two groups at the bar and alleged licence violations, including causing public nuisance.
Coimbatore: An FL2 liquor bar within the Peelamedu police limits was sealed on September 8 following alleged licence violations, including a recent altercation at the establishment that led to a police case.

Based on a complaint lodged by the FL2 bar manager, Nagasubramaniam, regarding an altercation between two groups at the bar, the E2 Peelamedu police registered a case against those allegedly involved and are investigating the matter.
The bar was also allegedly found to have violated the conditions governing its licence and caused inconvenience to the public.
Following the alleged violations, Coimbatore Prohibition Department Tahsildar Saranya sealed the FL2 liquor bar on Tuesday evening.
