Vignesh R, BJP's Coimbatore South district social media incharge, has resigned from his position and primary membership. In his resignation letter dated June 6, 2026, to state social media head M S Balaji, he cited following K Annamalai's path as his reason.

Coimbatore: Vignesh R, who served as the Bharatiya Janata Party's Coimbatore South district social media incharge, has stepped down from his position and primary party membership. He stated that this decision was made after prolonged contemplation and with a heavy heart.

In his resignation letter dated June 6, 2026, addressed to M S Balaji, BJP Tamilnadu state social media division head, Vignesh announced his decision. He mentioned that this resolution was based on his commitment to follow the path of his elder brother and leader K Annamalai.

Vignesh expressed in his letter that Annamalai's exceptional leadership qualities, political approach, and dedication to serving the people had inspired him. His determination was rooted in this inspiration, which prompted his decision to resign from the party structure.

In the resignation letter, Vignesh thanked Balaji for the encouragement and support provided thus far. He also mentioned being grateful for the opportunity to serve in the Tamilnadu social media division and work alongside dedicated party workers.

Vignesh expressed his heartfelt gratitude to BJP and RSS karyakarthas who nurtured him with the objective of serving the nation and its people. He submitted his resignation with deep appreciation for the experiences and growth the party provided him during his tenure.
