Coimbatore: Installation of CCTV cameras in Coimbatore TASMAC outlets has been geared up. There are 291 TASMAC outlets in Coimbatore district. For administrative convenience these outlets are divided into the two zones of North and South.
Coimbatore: Installation of CCTV cameras in Coimbatore TASMAC outlets has been geared up. There are 291 TASMAC outlets in Coimbatore district. For administrative convenience these outlets are divided into the two zones of North and South.
Of these, 156 are in North Zone control while 135 are in South. The Government of Tamil Nadu has given permission for CCTV cameras to be installed in TASMAC outlets across Tamil Nadu. Following this, all the TASMAC outlets in Coimbatore district are getting fit with them.
TASMAC officials, "In order to prevent malpractices in TASMAC shops and theft of liquor, CCTV cameras are being installed. The shops will have two cameras each."
